Specialist Grading in MyBackPack
Check to make sure that "Lower School" is listed as your current school.
If you need to change your school, click on Preferences under my Profile and the following window will appear.
Change your Current School to Lower School and click the Submit button.
Click on Grades/Comments under My Classes.
Choose the applicable Marking Period and Class.
Click on the Category tab to complete checklists for each class. You can set all the boxes to one choice (such as "Always") by clicking on the "Bulk Comment Entry" button and following the steps below.
Click on the category that you want to use for all the checklists and click "Apply". You can then just manually change the ones that do not fit this category. Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the screen when you're done with your checklists.
If you feel the need to write a comment about an individual student, click on the Student tab and type the comment into the appropriate student box. Click "Apply" at the bottom of the screen when you're done.
Finally, click on the "Section" tab, enter your curricular statement and you have finished your grading for this class. Click "Apply" at the bottom of the screen when you're done.
