Start Up Procedures for Laser Cutters

LARGE LASER CUTTER: EPILOG HELIX M2:

Make sure the lid is closed before turning on the large machine.

Large Machine On/Off Switches are pictured below.

#1 is behind a cardboard box now as it is easily turned "off" when the machine is cutting if someone leans in to look at the work in progress and their knee hits it.

#2 hasn't changed.

#3 is a compressor which is always left on the floor now as it vibrates and moves while turned on, and WILL fall off the table as pictured here.

SMALL LASERCUTTER EPILOG ZING

Make sure the lid is closed before turning on the large machine.

Small Machine On/Off Switches are pictured below.

#1 is on the wall near the door.

#2 is the power strip located behind the computer on the table to the right of the laser cutter. It turns on the compressor (hidden on the shelf below) and the laser cutter.

#3 is on the right side of the laser cutter, behind the computer
