Creating 3D Printed Lithopanes

Follow these instructions to create a 3D printed Lithopane from an image.

Go to pixlr.com and select Editor

Press enter to crop.

Save

You can use meadowbrookstudent with a password of Meadowbrook123 for this project.

Preview

Select Create Thing when ready

Enter yourname Lithopane for the name. Deselect Publish new thing, Then Create Thing

After it processes, select view thing

Download Thing

Select the object, then the options arrow on the move tool. Be sure to click on platform and center

Click Make

Be sure your options match this image.

Save your file, naming it yourname lithopane. Be sure the file type is X3G. Now you can turn this file in to be printed on the 3D printer!
