Removing a Print Job - Be Careful of the Heated Bed and the Connectors!

Leveling Build Platform - do this if print quality starts to degrade.

See page 31 of the manual for directions to level the build platform. It says to start by tightening all the screws. This is not necessary and only takes more time.

Slicing Software: Z-Suite

It is installed on EurekaLab Computers 3 & 4. It is also freely available for download here.

Serial Number for our Zortrax is: Z9a25b15f (but the online form for tech support wanted all upper-case!)

Printing

1. After file has been saved from Z-Suite, remove SD Card from Computer and take it out of the USB converter.

2. Insert the SD card into the front of the 3D printer.

3. Check that there is enough filament on the spool for your print job. (Change Filament - use only Zortrax ABS!)

5. Clean the print bed if needed, using steps above for removing a print job. Make sure the bed is CLEAN and LEVEL before starting.

6. Write a postit-note with your name on it and the name of the print job as it was saved on the SD Card. Put that postit-note on the printer. This way, if the job fails, someone else can reprint it for your.

7. Turn on the machine and find your print job and set it to print. The bed will have to heat up before it can start.

8. Don't touch the printer while it is printing. Close the door.
