Transfer Google Drive files from MB account to personal account Transfer Google Drive files from MB account to personal account Method 1: Transfer All Files While logged in on your Meadowbrook email account, go to https://takeout.google.com/transfer. Type in your personal email address in the "Enter your email address" field. Hit "Send Code". Check your personal email address for the verification code, and type it in to verify the process. You can now select if you want to transfer all emails, all Drive files, or both. Make sure all Drive files are checked. The transfer process will begin. It may take a while to transfer all your files over. A new folder will be created in your personal "My Drive" with a label that includes the name of your Meadowbrook account and the date on which the transfer was initiated. Inside this folder you will find all of the copied content from your Meadowbrook account. Method 2: Transfer Specific Files While logged in on your Meadowbrook email account, go to your Google Drive at https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive. Select multiple files that you want to transfer by Cmd+clicking all the individual files. (they will be highlighted in blue) Near the top will be a bar that says "[number] selected". To the right of that will be an icon with a person and a plus sign; this is the share icon. Click on that icon. Type in your personal email address in the "Add people, groups, and calendar events" field. Once you have typed it in, a box will pop up below with that email account. Click on it. Make sure the sharing is set to "Editor" then hit "Send". After the files have been shared, hit the dropdown that currently says "Editor", then hit "Transfer ownership". Then, hit "Yes" to confirm.
