Designing a Full Color Sticker to Print and Cut with Contour Curves on the Roland BN-20.
Find and Image
Use Google Images to search for an image you would like to make into a sticker.
On your trackpad, two finger click (or right-click on a mouse) on the image to Save Image As...
Note which folder it is being saved into, give it a good name, click Save.
In Adobe Illustrator, Create New. Make document that is the size you want your sticker to be, and be sure to use RGB Color:
File -> Place the file you downloaded into your document:
Select your image. If you see a big X over your image, click Embed
File -> Export to save it to your computer as a PNG:
Under PNG Options, select High Resolution and Transparent background:
In Chrome, go to the website to add a Cut Contour line: https://www.cutcontour.com/
Select which sticker style you prefer:
Upload Image
Make it the size you selected for your sticker in Adobe Illustrator
Image Border 0.1
Smoothing (you choose with the slider)
Enter your email address
Select Get PDF
Open email, find message, scroll down and click download:
In Adobe Illustrator, Open the new File. Go to File -> Open and find the file in your downloads folder:
Select the image.
Go to Layers. Open the Layer 1 and click on the blue dot to the right of the red outline of your image to select only that:
Change the cutline path color to be the pink from our Eurekalab Colors Library.
1) click on the arrow above the stroke and fill boxes on the left, to move the box on the right (the stroke color) on top of the fill color.
2) click on Libraries tab.
3) click on pink color in the library. (The red square on left should turn pink.)
Save the file to Creative Cloud and give it a good name:
